白果薏米豆包糖水


 好久没煮这款糖水了,今早到菜市场时看到新鲜的白果,(十月是白果的盛产期,在江南苏州,沿街小巷提着担卖白果和一些秋收的水果如橘子、枣子的小贩到处可见)就想到买一些回来煮白果薏米豆包糖水。
白果能滋阴养颜,又有补肺润肺作用,材料简单易做又好吃,现在天气这么干燥,煮来吃吃滋润下吧!

材料:
200g 白果
50g 薏米
2包 湿豆包
5~6片 香兰叶,打结
150g 冰糖
3 liter 清水

注意:
五岁以下小孩不可食用白果
小孩一天不可吃超过五颗白果
成人一天不可吃超过十颗白果

做法:
1. 先将白果去壳,入沸水锅中汆烫,再去膜、去心。
2.把洗净的薏米、豆包、香兰叶和清水加入一大锅中烧开,用小火煮大约半小时后加入白果,继续煮半小时。(需要不时搅拌以免薏米粘锅)
3.加入冰糖拌匀。

Ginkgo Barley Beancurd Dessert

This is a very simple home recipe for Chinese gingko barley beancurd sheet dessert.We believe that it helps to rejuvenate skin and promote better complexion. The gingko nuts are believed to be beneficial to our respiratory system including asthma,bronchitis and coughs .
The weather has been very warm these few days , so it's really nice to have this soothing and smooth dessert to cool you down 😄

Health Warning: 
Children under five are not advised to c onsume the gingko nuts. 
Children should not eat more than five gingko nuts per day
Adults should not eat more than ten gingko nuts per day 

Ingredients :
200g Gingko nuts
50g Barley
2 pkts Beancurd sheet 
5~6pcs Pandan leaves,knotted
150g Rock sugar , adjust the sweetness to your preference
3 liter Water

Method :
1. Shell the gingko nuts and par-boil to remove the skin. Then use a toothpick to remove the tiny stem .

2. Bring the washed barley, beancurd sheet , pandan leaves and water to a boil and simmer for half an hour. Stir from time to time to avoid the barleys from sticking to the pot .

3. Add the gingko nuts and continue to cook for another 30 minutes .

4. Stir in the rock sugar and adjust the sweetness .
